My Dad Flew Hurricanes, then Spits with 607 Squadron in the Far East up to Jan 1945 when he moved on to become an instructor.
I am working on adding all the Pilots that flew Spits with him during that time with all their flights from the Squadron ORB.
I have also added some Contemporary pilots from 615 Squadron.
I feel it is very important that pilots from the "Forgotten War" fighting the Japs in the Far East (India, Burma .. etc) are remembered, especially those who laid down their lives in the name of Freedom, as they do not get the same recognition as those who fought in many other theatres of war.
Would also like to hear from the ancestors of any other 607 Pilots.
